The trail starts at the car park just outside Bulle and then takes a loop through the Foret de Bouleyres forest. The trail moves along unpaved paths through nature and you can also enjoy it with children. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.

The trail passes through the Foret de Bouleyres, a wonderful recreation area entirely dedicated to relaxation and recreation. The forest is ideal for the whole family and has a playground, the "Bouleyres" forest hut, various cabins and picnic areas. The forest is at an altitude of between 700 and 800m and is provided with a slightly undulating terrain and a lush fauna and flora.

The Bois de Bouleyres forest is the green lung of the city of Bulle and lends itself to all kinds of leisure activities. There are restaurants and games for children. This is a magnificent hike that leads to the Gorges de la Jogne in Gruyère in the canton of Friborg as well as to Lake Monsalvens. The start is in Broc next to the Nestlé chocolate factory.
