Starting quayside at the historic Picton Marina, you'll be entranced by the views of sweeping mountains with pleasure boats in the foreground. Most of the trail has a constant and even incline, so there won't be any too many challenging areas. That said, the trail does include 75-metres of elevation gain over 1.3-km, so be sure to bring water for this route in summer. There is an alternative starting point at the top of the hill. The best parking is close to Shelly Beach.
