This route in the Périgord-Limousin regional natural park will take you through the centuries, from the Neolithic era to the Middle Ages, passing through the Gallo-Roman period. This route begins in the charming village of Piégut-Pluviers which formed a seigneury dependent on Limoges in the 15th century, and which now has an interesting old architecture.

Walk in Périgord Vert Granitique, in a landscape made up of woods and ponds. The town retains some vestiges from the Gallo-Roman period such as the Roman road and a forge. A 12th and 13th century castle was destroyed in 1199 by the troops of Richard the Lionheart; there remains today the keep called Tower of Piégut.
