A walk in the city of Rome that crosses the Caffarella Park, starting from the Via Appia Nuova at the Colli Albani bus stop. The route enters the park from Viale Mario Leigheb and then takes a sction of the Appia Antica. The itinerary reaches the Circonvallazione Ardeatina which leaves the park and proceeds in the Garbatella district until it reaches Via Ostiense. From here there is the alternative to return to the starting point following the same route or return by bus.

The route begins in the parking lot of the Ex Cartiera Latina and proceeds clockwise crossing the river Almone and Marrana. Furthermore, the itinerary crosses the Parco delle Tombe di via Latina and then proceeds towards the Fosso Marrana Waterfall. Along the way it is possible to admire ruins of historical and cultural importance from the Roman era.

From here the excursion continues in an anticlockwise loop following the Almone Torrent for a stretch on the outward journey and the Marrana River on the right on the return journey.
