This hike at the gates of the Verdon Regional Natural Park starts from Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The trail begins near the Castle and crosses the village via rue de l'Eglise. It takes you to the beautiful Romanesque Notre-Dame-du-Verdon chapel. The path joins the Verdon and offers you a beautiful view of its gorges. The overhanging path leads you to the Pont de Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon, goes around the Lac d'Artignosc, then leads you to the Lac de Montpezat....
