The trail begins near the Agua Santa Aerodrome and goes up one side to Portezuelo de Los Lazos. After going down a path, a steep climb begins along a dirt road to the summit of Cerro del Medio. From here, the path follows the edge of the mountain to a summit with spectacular views of the valleys and mountains.
