The trail begins at the Lüderenalp at a larger parking lot. Then it goes through the beautiful cultural landscape over some peaks such as the Blüttenriedschwand, on Rotchnubel and then on the Geissgratflue at 1332m. Then it continues on Färnli Esel at 1382m until you slowly come back down into the valley. It is a terrain, partly rocky, without much shelter, where you are exposed to the sun, especially in summer. So please don't forget to bring adequate sun protection and water.
