This track takes you to the Te Waikoropupu Springs, the largest freshwater springs in New Zealand. It's a short family-friendly walk through the woods, mostly a boardwalk with a viewing platform. The water of the springs is crystal clear. A carpark with public toilets is located at the trailhead. Access from the Pupu Springs Road end.

This track takes you from the end of Wald Homes Road to the summit of Parapara Peak (1249m). It is a challenging climb through the forest recommended for fit and experienced trampers only. Some sections are very steep and rocky, but you will be rewarded with great views at the top. Be careful when there has been a wet day because the track can get muddy and slippery in places.

The Labyrinth Rocks - Golden Bay is located in Takaka at the southeastern end of Golden Bay. This short walk takes you through the forest park with native trees and interestingly shaped limestone canyons. There is no fee required to enter the Labyrinth. Access from Scott Road. A carpark is available at the trailhead.

The Pupu Hydro Walkway follows an old gold-mining water race located in Kahurangi National Park. It's a short walk through the beech/rimu/podocarp forest great for families with kids. The first half of the walk climbs up towards and along the water course. The second half follows the 4WD road with very little shade. The track is well-maintained and provides nice scenery along the way. There's a good freedom campground at the base.

This track will take you through limestone blocks in the Grove Scenic Reserve near Takaka. It's an easy short walk with very interesting shaped rocks and trees with large roots such as rātā and nikau palms. There's a great viewpoint with nice views and a wonderful atmosphere during golden hours.
