A leisurely hike for the whole family in Siebeneich near Bolzano. The path leads through a beautiful forest to Greifenstein Castle and on to Gasthaus Noafer. Also known as Sauschloss (pig castle), Greifenstein Castle is located on a steep spur on the Tschögglberg, where it was probably built in the 12th century. A fantastic circular hike on the Castle Trail near Eppan on the Wine Route in the Überetsch. It is suitable for the whole family, but not for pushchairs. The path begins at the Corba Castle above Missian and leads through a forest on path no. 12 to Appiano Castle. Then it continues on the Burgenweg (castel trail) to the ruins of Boymont Castle and back to Corba Castle. This is a wonderful high altitude hike on the famous plateau overlooking the Tschaufer Hohe | Colle del Giovo (1467 m) and with several excellent refreshment stops. We highly recommend stopping at Gschnoferstall and Tschaufenhaus. The start is on the road but the walk is very beautiful with all kinds of landscapes and trails and lots of beautiful views. Very easy, except for the beginning. On the way back, you can take path 33A and extend it for 15 minutes more to avoid being on the paved...
