The Urbès tunnel was a project which consisted of connecting two valleys, Saint-Maurice in the Vosges to Urbès in Moselle, and which was abandoned in 1935. It was then used as an arms factory and concentration camp by the Germans during the war. This trail starting from Urbès will allow you to see what remains of this unfinished project. Beautiful hike in the Thur valley, from Storckensohn to the highest point of the Chauvelin mountain, the Huselberg. You will have a beautiful view of the valley when you reach the top of the summit.
