This great walk starts from Santa Maria in Calanca and goes through Castaneda to Grono. It goes past the tower of Santa Maria in Calanca, which stands on a plateau above the church of Santa Maria Assunta. It was probably built around 1300 and is a three-storey residential tower. The "Torre Fiorenzana" is located north of the village of Grono and was built at the end of the 12th century. Today it is used as an exhibition space.

The path starts from Santa Maria in Calanca and crosses the enchanting Val Calanca Park. This route is a two or three day hike. The first segment of the day is the top of Pian di Renten at 1914m and leads up to the Buffalora Hut after about 16 kilometres. This beautiful hike is located in the Cama Valley in the canton of Graubünden. The path begins in Ogreda in the Mesolcina Valley and leads through a beautiful forest along the Rio de Val Cama to the beautiful Cama Lake. The unique geographic location of this mountain lake (1266 m) allows the lake to freeze completely from November to April.

From Grono, the path leads directly along a hiking trail and then leads along the paved road Via Molina to the Laghetto di Buseno.
