This route leads to the Unerzio Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Maira Valley. The start is in Acceglio, and the first part takes place on an asphalted road along the Unerzio valley with all its villages such as Gheit, Chialvetta, Pratorotondo and Viviere. Departure from Frere, take the small road immediately left into the woods and then cross the asphalted provincial road in Acceglio. Continue to Villar, Ponte Maira, Olagnieres from where you take the road to the left for Sorgenti Maira. Cross the campsite on the left and begin to climb along the old military road which can be pedaled up to an altitude of 2000m. The first stretch of this long stage climbs to the Gardetta pass, along the length of the Unerzio valley from Chialvetta, and skirting round the Rocca Limburny peak. A beautiful but demanding excursion in the Maira Valley, starting from the village of Chialvetta, near the Church of Sant'Anna. The round trip continues uphill to Colle di Soleglio Bue (2338m). From here you proceed along a short path until you reach the top of the Rocca delle Sommette (2487m).
