You can park the car at the edge of town next to some fields. Had to traverse through a few fields before coming to the wilderness. Climbed steeply up the banks through leftover snow and scree. It's a perfect hike to catch a beautiful sunset/sunrise at the top at about midnight in the summer time. The descended goes by the same route.
