This walk on Mount Melville starts at a convenient car parking point and includes part of the Mount Melville Circuit Trail. It is an easy, moderately interesting walk with some nice views. There's a slightly steep uphill section but it's only short. The track is mostly gravel with a few steps - not suitable for prams, etc, though it is traversable by mountain bike.

This short track takes you to the gorgeous views from the Mount Melville Lookout. From the small car park just off of Melville Road at the base of the water tank the track ventures up rocky granite outcrops and follows the ridge north to the lookout. This is a great option for a sunset hike as the views are great and it's an easy and short distance to cover.
