This beautiful loop combines several trails at Matthaei Botanical Gardens, including the Fleming Creek Trail, Marilyn Bland Prairie Trail, Sam Graham Trees, and Sue Reichert Discovery Trail. You'll finish with a loop around Willow Pond before arriving back at the parking lot. There are a handful of additional trails that intersect with this loop if you want to further explore the Gardens!

The Marshall Nature Area trail network links to the Tom Freeman Preserve trails, making for a nice walk. The two combine to offer a little-used, short walk in the woods where you are sure to find some solitude. There are a few steep hills, but none of them are long climbs. The parking lot for the trails is on Dixboro Rd and can handle around 8 cars.
