This is the main loop in the park that leads visitors around both sides of the creek that runs through the center. There are a couple of spur trails (Red and White Loop) that lead off the main trail for some added mileage for those who wish to extend their route. The trail is partially shaded but bringing sun protection is advised.

This is a nice and easy walk by the harbor that everyone can enjoy. The route is paved and mostly travels along the sidewalk with many shopping areas to stop and visit along the way. There are beautiful views over the water towards the Tamiami Trail, then the transition to mangroves on the east end makes for a nice change of scenery. This trail travels through a variety of different ecosystems and features a variety of wildlife species in the area. The trail starts out in a shady oasis and then turns into open prairie shortly after. Many sections of this trail are exposed and bringing sun protection is advised. Some of the markings can be sparse along this route.

The trail is well-maintained and easy to navigate. The trail can become muddy during wet conditions and waterproof shoes are recommended. There are not many views along the trail, however, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers. This is one of the less-trafficked trails in the park but it is certainly worth the visit.
