This route from Arles takes you into the Camargue countryside. This circuit takes you through the rice fields and market gardens and ends on the banks of the Vaccarès lake. This pond, the largest in the Camargue, takes its name from the many wild cows that lived there. This wetland in the heart of the Camargue National Nature Reserve hosts many species of birds, including flamingos.
