This beautiful circular hike is located in the Schanfigg valley near Arosa in the canton of Graubünden. Part of the trail is on the Squirrel Trail, where numerous squirrels can be observed and fed all year round. From Innerarosa it goes over the Chur Alps to the Tschuggenhütte and the Arosa Bärenland at over 2000 m above sea level. The Bärenland is an animal care station that rescues bears and gives them a species-appropriate home again.

The path begins in Maran at a parking lot directly at the restaurant. In the winter months, the path is suitable for a snowshoe hike. Following the Ochsenalpweg path through the area and passing the Arosa panorama point with a view of the lake Unter Prätschsee. After not too long the path reaches the Rot Tritt and then leads slowly back down to the starting point. The trail starts in Maran and then runs through the area to the middle station of the Weisshornbahn cable car. It then continues beyond the Hintere Hütte reservoir and follows the Carmennaweg path to the Carmenna Hütte refuge. Then it goes down to Innerarosa and then beyond the Arosa Bear Sanctuary and then returns to the starting point. This trail starts at Arosa station right on the shore of the small Obersee lake. So it already follows dirt paths in the Scheitabodawald forest and then even more in open terrain. The trail continues past the lakes and the Prätschalp hut. After a few kilometers it comes to the Scheiddegg area at around 2000m and then the Fuchs peak at 2237m.
