This area is a real gem that features multiple trails through a beautiful forested area. The best access to this area is to turn east onto Bethel Rd SW, at the sign labeled "Bluffwoods Conservation Area -- Goodell Memorial". There is another sign about 1.5 miles northeast of here that goes to the Goodell Annex or Area G.

This trail has a soil surface with numerous exposed tree roots and rocks. Because of the relatively steep grade, sections can be slippery if wet. At the mid-point of the trail, the remnants of an old farmstead can be seen to the right. The trail ends at private property but offers a view of the Missouri River valley. The trip out on the trail can be strenuous because of the grade, while the return trip is, of course, easier. Please be respectful of the private property of park neighbors.

The short trail offers a short walk to a view of the Missouri River. The trail is accessed by crossing the Weston Bluffs Trail and the Burlington Northern Railway tracks. The trail ends at the river, with drop-offs along the way. The trail is in the floodplain and a good example of second-growth bottomland forest.
