Syntagma - National Garden - Zappeion (Σύνταγμα - Εθνικός Κήπος - Ζάππειο) A peaceful stroll in the centre of Athens, among nature. This is the National Garden of Athens, which in the earlier years was the garden of the palace and a scientific and botanical garden as well. The garden was renamed from 'Royal Garden' to 'National Garden' in 1927. It is now a designated Historic Site. The nice walk continues to the oposite Zappeion Megaron Hall and its garden.
