Athens Historic Centre and the Acropolis (Ιστορικό Κέντρο Αθήνας και Ακρόπολη) A beautiful circular route in the historic centre of Athens, which starts near Syntagma Square, heads towards Plaka and ascends to the Acropolis hill. There, it visits the ancient monuments and the Temple of Parthenon, descends the hill from its west side to continue towards the area of Thiseion, visit the Monastiraki Square and returns via the pedestrian street of Ermou, to the starting point.

Lycabettus Hill (Λόφος Λυκαβηττού) The route to the Lycabettus summit starts a little above Dexameni Square and ascends to a path from the southern slope of the hill, through the pine forest. Soon the trail meets the paved path that goes directly to the top and the chapel of Agios Georgios. Arriving there, the visitor can tour the place, admire from above the view of the whole city to the sea and sit in one of the cafes or restaurants.

Syntagma - National Garden - Zappeion (Σύνταγμα - Εθνικός Κήπος - Ζάππειο) A peaceful stroll in the centre of Athens, among nature. This is the National Garden of Athens, which in the earlier years was the garden of the palace and a scientific and botanical garden as well. The garden was renamed from 'Royal Garden' to 'National Garden' in 1927. It is now a designated Historic Site. The nice walk continues to the oposite Zappeion Megaron Hall and its garden.
