A pleasant route but with a demanding slope, starting from Ospedaletto d'Alpinolo. The trail is mostly cobblestones with occasional spots of corrosion but is large and easy to follow. Most of the way the slope is gradual. The path arrives at the Monastery of Montevergine where it is possible to admire a wonderful view. If this hike is done during the fall, the trail will be covered with fallen chestnuts. It is reccomended to wear comfortable walking shoes, as the trail is rocky in places.
