Rugged rocks, idyllic river banks and beautiful views characterize this route. Starting in Kehlheim, you first walk through the Weltenburger Enge nature reserve, directly along the Danube. Here you are mostly on the Weltenburger Höhenweg, which is known for its diversity. The route then continues along the Altmühl, on the north bank of which it also goes back to the starting point. Here you pass the Randeck Castle and the Kreuzfelsen. The route begins and ends at the Donauvorland parking lot.
