Dirt bike touring in Baja, Mexico. Section 6 is from Bay of L.A. to San Felipe. These trails were built and are maintained for the purpose of off road driving ONLY. No one should be hiking up or down these trails, as there are plenty of blind, high speed and tight areas which are tough to avoid oncoming traffic. There are many great loops nearby that are better suited for hiking and will result in a much more enjoyable experience. This is section 6 and changes each year.

You start at the eclectic Museum of Nature and Culture in the fishing town of Bahía de los Ángeles on the Gulf of California. From there, you will climb into the Sierra La Libertad mountains along a narrow trail that follows the side of a ravine. Day trippers will be blessed with epic views of the city below and the sparkling turquoise waters of the gulf, with Isla Ángel de la Guarda visible from shore.
