The Bremer Wildernis is a small forest and nature reserve located near Gaasterland. The forest owes its name in the first place to the common broom (brem), a butterfly bush that used to grow a lot here. You don't come across this much anymore, but you can already see the "wilderness" of the name during the first steps. The Bremer Wildernis feels like a jungle. This is a nice tour through the old-growth forest, on long straight paths and small winding paths.
