This is a lovely short and sweet trail with some nice views of the water and mountain peaks, good for families. Especially in the morning, this trail is very quiet, serene, and beautiful. This is an easy trail that can be completed by anyone who enjoys nature. During the winter, this trail is not maintained, so it is a great place to come to snowshoe.

This is a short little trail with a nice little climb up to the falls. Most of the route follows loose shale, so it is recommended to be careful on the descent. There is a gorgeous view of Bow Valley and the waterfalls are beautiful. The incline is fairly steady, not too steep, but short and rewarding. During the winter, wearing micro spikes is recommended. Be aware this trail enters avalanche terrain, so check avalanche.ca for the latest forecast.

This trail takes hikers along the ridge of the hill with many beautiful viewpoints and lookouts along the way. Hikers have the option of only going to the first one a short distance away from the parking lot, or continuing on as far as they want. Some unofficial offshoot trails branch off of the main trail.

The Blue Arrows trail is a lovely and easy trail around Tunnel Mountain Village. Parking can be found along Tunnel Mountain Road. The trail follows a secluded pathway within the forested area. There are gorgeous views of the magnificent Bow Valley, with some sections of the trail having views of the Bow River and others of the Cascade River. You can spot the Hoodoos down the bank of the Bow River. This is a great trail for those living and visiting Banff and is family friendly.

This abridged alternative to the full Tunnel Mountain Hoodoos Trail is an easy hike that follows the Bow River north under the east side of Tunnel Mountain, leading to the Hoodoos Viewpoint. There is some mild elevation gain near the viewpoint. The trail continues past the viewpoint for folks who want to extend their hike or run.
