If you are visiting or staying in Banff and want to get away from the busy main Street and see some wonderful scenery, then this walk is for you. You can get to the base of the bow River falls and back within a couple of hours. There are some steps up and down both ways, but not too taxing for most people. If steps are a problem or you have a push chair then you can stop and turn round when the rapids start. It can get icy as it is not maintained in winter, so be prepared!
