When the parking area is gated, you can also park at the end of Alexander Road. Please be cautious, as there is seasonal hunting in the area. Bringing the app or downloading the offline map is recommended to get oriented as several users have reported that the trail is not marked clearly. This is a great work out. It continually climbs up and down with switchbacks. It gets more rocky at the end.
