This hike represents stage 11 of the GR® 5 and takes you from Barr to Châtenois, in the Bas Rhin. Along the way you will pass by the village of Andlau, the Refuge Gruckert, the Col de l'Ungersberg, the summit of the Ungersberg at 901 meters above sea level, Schulwaldplatz, the Château du Bernstein, the Château de l'Ortenbourg and the Ramstein Castle. This mountain bike ride leaves from the car park near the Barr Media Library. The route goes through, among other things, Welschbruch, the Carrefour de la Breitmatt, below the Kienberg which culminates at an altitude of 801 m, the Carrefour de la Bloss and the Kiosque Jadelot, before returning to the starting point.

Place de l'Hotel de Ville - Barr: It was built in 1640 in Renaissance style, on the ruins of a castle. The building has three bodies, the main one topped by a pediment with volutes and three statues representing Justice, Temperance and Peace.
