The pathways are completely paved, and you'll have opportunities to watch birds, see paddlers, relax on benches, and to see great views of the lake and surrounding horizons. During winter, the trail is not maintained so folks enjoy coming here to snowshoe.

What a beautiful loop from the northern access. This is one of Barrie's best areas to view Trilliums during the spring and summer, thanks to the perfect climate for Ontario's flower. This loop features a good variety of up and down hill and flats. The markings can be a bit confusing so it will be helpful having maps downloaded should you require directions along the loop.

What a great loop that takes advantage of this stunning urban nature. There are lots of ups and downs to make it moderately challenging, but the distance is perfect and won't tire out most people too much. There are tons of trail markers to follow, but since you'll be taking this loop the entire time, it is quite easy to follow. The trails are quite busy almost always, expect in winter when folks will enjoy a pleasant snowshoe.
