One of the most beautiful hiking trails in Skåne! The trail offers long pebble beaches, cool cliffs and mighty waves. You start by following the Skåneleden with orange, hiking east on the hill, high over the beaches, into the forest and up to Knösen. Then turn back to the picturesque fishing village of Kattvik and follow the water back. Do not miss the opportunity to go down to the water and the finest beaches.

On stage 17, you walk on small paths through Hovs Hallar with cliffs, steps, and forest, over heather moors, grazed beach meadows, cobblestone fields, and pass several fine beaches, lakes, and ancient monuments. Along the trail, you walk past the damaged Bronze Age mound Kampehög and about forty burial mounds along the west side of the Bjäre Peninsula.

Beach roads take you into the fishing village Torekov. Centrally located you will find a small park with a crooked and rare tree, vejksel. The species is related to rose plants. Just west of the harbor is a dark streak fused with the reddish mountain. It is magma that has pushed up and created a diabase passage.
