The route proceeds counterclockwise passing by Mottarone (1491m), where it is possible to admire beautiful views. Proceed in the direction of Monte Zughero (1230m) passing through Alpe Nuovo (1205m).

This route is decidedly more technical than the Mottarone Sentiero Blu and is mainly on dirt. The utmost caution is recommended as the alleys are very narrow and meet pedestrians and cars. There are several signs that make it clear that the "down hill" is not welcome. In conclusion, this is an absolutely fun ride. To be done in dry conditions if possible.
