This long pass road connects La Punt in the Lower Engadine with Bergün in the Albula Valley. The road is rather narrow, but leads through a beautiful landscape. The pass lies at 2312 m and at the largest slope is at 12%. The pass road was completed in 1865. In the Albula valley one will encounter the diverse art buildings of the Rhaetian Railway with its historic charme. Stopping on the top of the Albula Pass is a must.

The fourth segment of this trail that follows the number 33 takes one all the way to Preda. The whole way leads under and past a masterpiece of engineering. The hiking trail follows the banks of the Alb river and crosses the railway line several times, which has the most daring route in this section. Dare to take a look up. The railway adventure trail explains this hundred-year-old railway engineering art and is therefore also interesting for the little ones in the family.

The trail starts at the Bergün train station and then goes through the forest. Wonderfully passing the Chamanna D'Uglix refuge, one can then continue up to the Chamonas d'Ela refuge at 2252 m. It is a terrain, partly rocky, without much shelter, where one is exposed to the sun, especially in summer. So please don't forget to bring adequate sunscreen and water.

The trail is a demanding tour that starts in Bergün at the foot of the cable car. The best way to explore the area is by mountain bike. After about ten kilometers the trail passes the beautiful lake Lai da Palpuogna and then goes past the Alp Crap Alv further up. The highest point of the tour is the Albula Pass at around 2370m. Then it goes down over the Albula Bike Trail. After a short breather, it climbs up again a bit to the destination of the tour, the Bernina Pass.
