A fantastic hike around Lake Bessvatnet and Besseggen. This hike is a bit longer than the one around Bessengen, but still just as beautiful. Here you can walk along the water and enjoy the Norwegian landscape. Besseggen can be crowded, so you should set out as early as possible. Very nice hike to the lake Sikkilsdalsvatnet. It starts in the woods on a small path. Slowly there are less and less trees and you find yourself on a kind of tundra. On the saddle between two tops the path leads you down to the lake (or up the mountain). Once again you're in the woods. Very nice to walk here. After some minutes you'll reach the lake, with some horses grazing here. We enjoyed the beautiful view here for a couple of minutes and then turned around and took the same way back to...
