The course joins the edge of the Doubs river via La Roche Guillaume and Le Bichon before returning to the starting point. This fourth stage of the GR®509-GTJ or Great crossing of the Jura connects Biaufond to Villiers-le-Lac in the Doubs. The path evolves in the Regional Natural Park of Doubs Horloger in the Doubs valley. Along the way you will discover the lakes of Biaufond, Moron and Brenets. You will have a nice view of the Saut du Doubs, a beautiful waterfall with a height of 27m. A beautiful route mainly in the forest in a splendid setting.

Right through the Regional Park Doubs, it goes right through the cultural landscape. From Biaufond it goes along the water along the shore of the Lac de Biaufond. With a great view of this fabulous river Doubs, it then continues to Cerneux-Godat and then back to the beginning. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.
