Walk along the winding Strandgaperbeek, through fields with grazing cows and horses (keep your distance). You cross the river twice, and you walk entirely on unpaved, sometimes quite muddy paths, through rugged nature. The river is surrounded by wild flowers, herbs and trees. You feel far from civilization here. The path is little or not maintained, long pants and good shoes are recommended. The route is not marked.

The Climate Forest was planted in 2008. With the heart-shaped forest, Natuurmonumenten, Maxima, famous Dutch people and 6000 Dutch people asked attention to the climate. With this route you walk through the Klimaatbos and the Harderbos, which is also a play forest. A beautiful journey of discovery, where you can also hear the stories behind some of the trees.

The Beverroute is a red marked trail from Natuurmonumenten through the Harderbos. The Harderbos was only planted in the 1960s, but in recent years a lot of work has been done to make the forest more natural. The forest has countless different trees and you walk along waters. A beautiful living environment for beavers, which you will also be looking for during the Beaver Route. You can also find many frogs and toads in the pools. Three short routes have been set out around Biddinghuizen, of which the Zoo Route is the shortest. The route runs through the forest northwest of Biddinghuizen, around the waters. At the end you walk along the fences of De Scharrelberg animal park. The park is only open to visitors on open days, but through the fences you can admire the many animals, from sheep to walibis.

The Biddingringpad is the loop around Biddinghuizen. The route runs all the way around the town, where you can take in a number of unique views of typical Flevoland nature. The Hooge Vaart canal flows on the northern edge of Biddinghuizen, which you walk along for quite a while. Through edges of greenery and with views over the surrounding farm fields, you walk through to the forest that surrounds the sports park.
