This trailhead of the Davis Bayou Trail begins at the edge of the visitor center complex parking lot and continues north for a 1-mile trail to the picnic area. The trail provides access to the CCC Spur Trail and the Nature's Way Loop Trail. CCC Spur Trail is a very short trail along a wooded section to the Civilian Conservation Corps camp location.
