This hike starts at the Tippelsberg car park (space for approx. 10 cars, 100 m further there is another car park) There has been a nature trail around the Tippelsberg since summer 2020. It is only a few meters to the highest point and you have a wide view over the Ruhr area. From the Tippelsberg it goes over to the Zillertal. The paths are well developed and not muddy even in bad weather.

This is a great loop to do with a dog if you have one! It mainly leads around the Dahlhauser Heide (the hike starts at the Hordeler Hedie bus stop). The route leads mainly through forest areas and shrubs. There are even some ponds. It is relatively short and easy to walk on.

This route begins at the parking lot on Blankensteiner Straße in the very south of Bochum. It explores both the Weitmarer Holz and the Rauendahler forest and thus circles the district of Sundern. The path is of course mostly wooded. A great loop for walking the dog or jogging.

This short route explores the wooded areas around the district of Bergen. The area is between Bochum and Herne, just north of the 43. There are ponds and streams in the woods. The path leads along the Berger Mühlenbach for a while. The route is extended by going north and crossing the field into another small forest.
