This is a great hike through the so called green lungs of Bolzano. Lush forest paths lead to the summit of the Titschen | Monte Pozza (1616m), then downhill to Schneiderwiesen Restaurant for a quick stop. The final part leads over rocky downhill paths. Beautiful view of the Sciliar Massif and the Rosengarten Group from the Titschenwarte viewpoint. This medium-easy route that can also be done with children starts in Bolzano at the Kohfler cable car. Follow lane 1 - red / white / red - towards Dead Moor. Arrive at the Schneiderwiese Inn and pass a paddock with small pigs just before Dead Moor. There are many trails you can hike around the Kohfler.

This route is entirely on asphalt and for the most part follows the Adige River and crosses it several times on wooden bridges. At the beginning it is possible to stop to see the Castle of Firmiano | Schloss Sigmundskron which stands on a rock between the Isarco and Adige rivers.
