The route starts and ends at the Königswinter ferry terminal. From here it goes up to the Drachenfels, then on to the Wolkenburg. From here it gets steep and stony, but at the top there is a great narrow path with beautiful views of the Siebengebirge. Then you continue to the Milchhäusschen (delicious coffee and cake) and then back past the Drachenburg to Königswinter to the ferry.
