The first kilometer or so of this trail is steep and has many switchbacks to make the incline more manageable. Once you reach the top, the panoramic views are well worth the trail up. Coming down is relatively easier but some comfort with loose rock is essential. The trail itself is a nice mix of forested and wetland areas. The trail can be muddy when wet and care should be taken on sections of the boardwalks.

You will first come to a small loop after some intense elevation over the first two kilometers, and then you will mostly follow the ridge to the main lookout at the end of this trail. There are even some Red Chairs along the route to see, sit back and relax while enjoying the views.
