This portion of the Katy trail is oftentimes described as the most scenic of all the sections. For those on bikes, some portions of the trail are entirely paved while other portions are packed dirt.

This trail is estimated to be steep in several sections and very steep in one section at about the 0.5 mile mark. The trail surface may also be uneven, slippery, and soft in places. Trail goers using manual mobility equipment like a wheelchair or stroller will likely need assistance to navigate throughout this trail. Users with all-terrain mobility equipment may be able to navigate all or portions of this trail with ease.
