Features
This is a great short hike for any user level. The trails are mostly flat, and there are multiple waterfalls to view. A short walk through the forest leads to North Branch Muskoka River and its High Falls. The trail is wide and well maintained through not clearly marked. The High Fall bridge allows to cross the river above the falls with great views.
Activities
Features
BRMC Outside Loop starts on the main trail and includes partial sections of trails 1 through 4 on the map. Wide smooth walking path that provides access to many additional trails. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing available during the winter. Mountain bike trails branch off from the main trail as well, so best to stick to the right as you walk to make the most of the space.
Activities
Features
This is a great trail right off the roadway with many options to make this loop even longer. Since most of the route follows open trails over rocky sections, the trails are not distinctly marked but are generally easy to follow. The area is heavily trafficked so be equipped with patience if you want personal pics on weekends. Local hikers prefer to come in winter, late summer and fall due to how annoying deer flies can be in June and July.

Hikers recommend completing the full long loop around the lake, which can be found here: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/canada/ontario/hardy-lake-loop-trail There are some nice swimming spots to enjoy along the way. The trails are generally quite wet and muddy, so wearing waterproof footwear is recommended.
