The Bradenton Riverwalk is a paved trail alongside the Manatee River that offers a number of attractions, including views of the city and nearby bridges, a sand volleyball court, a skate park, a playground, and an amphitheater. The trail also offers multiple piers and spots for fishing. This trail takes visitors around and to the top of the Portavant Temple Mound, which is the largest Native American Temple Mound in Southwest Florida. The trail is partially wheelchair accessible, with a ramp that leads to the top of the main mound. The trail also consists of a few small sets of stairs and inclines. The site dates back hundreds of years.

This is a short hike along two trails- the Observation Tower Trail and the North Restoration Trail. The highlights of this route include an observation platform to admire the beauty of the surrounding area, opportunities for birdwatching along the pond areas, and a relatively flat hike around the eastern section of this preserve.

When the high tide is up, a portion of the trail will be underwater. This is great for a quick and scenic hike. This is a paddle route meant for kayaking, canoeing, or other paddling vehicles. This " No Motor Zone" nature preserve is a safe protected way to see what the great outdoors is all about and a water fisherman's paradise. This route is great for first-time paddlers and enthusiasts alike.  You can pack a lunch and take a detour or two and for a nice half-day on the water.
