This " No Motor Zone" nature preserve is a safe protected way to see what the great outdoors is all about and a water fisherman's paradise. This route is great for first-time paddlers and enthusiasts alike. You can pack a lunch and take a detour or two and for a nice half-day on the water.

The Bradenton Riverwalk is a paved trail alongside the Manatee River that offers a number of attractions, including views of the city and nearby bridges, a sand volleyball court, a skate park, a playground, and an amphitheater. The trail also offers multiple piers and spots for fishing. This route features shell and boardwalk trails and travels to viewpoints of Longboat Pass and Sarasota Bay. This area was once overrun with non-native species but since then, the county has restored the saltwater wetlands which are essential to the well-being of the area. There is a covered picnic area to relax and enjoy the scenery, but there are no restrooms located here.
