The mountain bike trail through the Cadettenkamp consists entirely of single track routes through drifting sands. An easy but interesting route with beautiful views. The route is well marked with the blue mountain bike sign. It is possible to combine the mountain bike routes of Dorst and Vachelen with these up to a total length of 32 kilometers. For connecting roads look for the green mountain bike sign.

The vast forests of Dorst used to be heathland areas. Pine forests were planted at the beginning of the 19th century. This route goes through forests and along part of the lakes of Surae. The old swimming pools are now a beautiful natural reserve where you can enjoy nice views, forests and grazing animals. You also walk through the countryside on quiet country roads.

Loop trail starting at the northern edge of Dorst, from where you hike straight into the forests of Dorst. The trail takes you through the woods to Surae, where you walk between and around the water pools. Surae used to be a recreational area with a swimming pond, boating pond and attractions. Years ago the area was returned to nature, and now it is a beautiful setting for hikes next to the waters and among the Scottish Highlanders. At the end of the trail you will pass a restaurant.

With this circular walk you start from the edge of Dorst. The first part you walk through the forests of Boswachterij Dorst, until you arrive at Surae. The old swimming pools that have been returned to nature offer a wonderful circular walk. The route takes you around most of the lakes, where you walk in peaceful nature accompanied by grazing Scottish Highlanders.

The route through Dorst is famous for the many curves and technique exercises for which this trail is made. This part of the route consists entirely of single track.
