The west side of this loop is well marked and maintained. There are frequent views of the creek along the way. The cliffs are a stunning sight and only a short distance from the main trail with a small campsite at the base. The east side of the trail is a series of dirt roads skirting the forest boundary and private lands with increasing vegetation as you progress.

The trailhead to this short and scenic hike is located at the Naval Air Station Pensacola RV park. The route itself is hilly and travels through a beautiful hardwood forest with educational signage along the way for the whole family to enjoy. Restrooms, picnic tables, and potable water are available at the trailhead.
