The route goes from the towns of Brig and Visp to the car-free, world-famous mountain village of Zermatt in the Swiss canton of Valais. A place that combines culture, sport and nature with its traditional village, its ski area, its hiking and mountain bike trails in an incredible region where the Matterhorn is located.
Activities
Features
Great hike via several bisses with views of the Rhone Valley and its river. The route starts in Brig in Upper Valais and goes in the direction of Visp via Mund, crosses Eggeberg and ends in Aussberg. The paths are great and nature is omnipresent with a lot of forest and mountains that are everywhere. Parts of the route are rather steep but always just a pleasure.

Features
The trail starts in Brig and then you hike through the alpine town and then out of town. You come through the Gantertal and follow the course of the Taferna river up to the Simplon Pass. You come up to 2005m and can treat yourself to a break in Kulm. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.
Activities
Features
The route begins in Birgisch towards the mouth and then down into the valley. After the underpass of the railway line, other paths can also be chosen to continue into the valley, as the final section chosen here is quite steep.
Activities
Features
The trail starts in Brig at the train station and then leads directly through Naters. It then comes up to Geimen on partly paved roads via Wieri. Then it follows the same path down again or one takes one of the public buses back to Brig. It is a terrain, partly rocky, without much shelter, where you are exposed to the sun, especially in summer. So please don't forget to bring adequate sun protection and water.
