It is one of the many GR trails in Europe. This route starts in the north of Brussels and heads south-east of the Ardennes to the river Semois. The trail can be completed in either direction. This trail is often used to get to Santiago de Compostela and connects to other trails used by pilgrims.

The start of this cycle route is in Uccle, south of the center of Brussels. This route takes cyclists through the varied environment along the Castle of La Hulpe, which is known for its beautiful garden with several walking routes. Then the route leads back to the start at the train station which is easily accessible.
