A leisurely circular hike for the whole family to the Little Monticolo Lake near Eppan an der Weinstraße. It begins at the Montiggl car park, which can be easily reached by car or bus from Eppan. The path leads through an idyllic forest to the Little Monticolo Lake, where there is also a snack bar and bathing beach. A botanical nature trail with 17 hand-painted display boards on the flora of Lake Monticolo leads around the lake.

Fantastic lake tour of the Big Monticolo Lake in the Monticolo Lakes Biotope. A leisurely path leads around the lake and is ideal for a family outing on hot summer days. Not far from the lake is the large car park Montiggler | Monticolo and a bus stop. On the western shore of the lake there is a lido and a restaurant. Fantastic route, which leads through parts of the Monticolo Lakes Biotope. It begins at the Monticolo car park and first leads through beautiful orchards and vineyards to Montiggl | Monticolo. Then the Patersteig | Sentiero Pater No. 3 leads to Rungg | Maso Ronco. On the way back, the route first passes the Little Monticolo Lake, then the Big Monticolo Lake.
